Over the past ten years, the admission and euthanasia of feral and stray cats at the county shelter has decreased from 18,500 cats per year to 838 at end of 2022

The graph below displays the reduction of admissions and euthanasia since 2009. Increased and focused TNR has had a significant impact on the percentage of feral and stray cats being taken to the county shelter.
