Furniture, Clothing, Appliance, Electronics, Jewelry, Books and More will be on sale to benefit Heaven Can Wait Animal Society on March 1st through the 4th. HCWS Garage Sale Flyer C5 has been highlighted in Pet Scene Magazine in an article titled They Live Among Us - Feral and Free Roaming Cats found on Page 12 of the magazine. On October 18, 2011 C5 along with Heaven Can Wait and the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society were presented proclamations recognizing them for their leadership in promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in Clark County, Nevada. The Spay-A-Thon was amazing. In 48 hours, 405 feral and stray cats were spayed or neutered and provided necessary vaccines! A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers, veterinarians, vet techs, vet assistants and Heaven Can Wait staff! C5 trappers and colony caretakers trapped 234 of the 424 cats checked into the clinic. This is a record high for C5! Also, thank you to all who donated to help C5 raise the funds to cover the costs of the surgeries! We did not meet our goal of $5,000 however we are very happy about raising $2,595! |

The Bonnie Springs Ranch ICS Cook Off was very successful even with the rain! We had over 25 vendors and 18 contestants cooking up their secret chili recipes! The winner in the People's Choice catagory (tasted and judged by the people attending the event) was a Las Vegas local, Carrie M.!!! Carrie works at Heaven Can Wait Spay/Neuter clinic!!
